Ben Okoro

Ben Okoro is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Manager at Project Development Solutions (PDS). He provides engineering, project management, and execution solutions for projects to our clients within the energy sector in the USA.

Before joining PDS, Ben was Facilities Engineering (FE) Regional Manager with Chevron in Houston, TX. He was responsible for deploying and assessing the FE-sponsored corporate standards and processes at five (5) business units in the US, Africa, and Latin America. Before that, he was Manager of the FE Division for Chevron in Lagos, Nigeria, where he provided strategic leadership and engineering support to the asset teams, major capital project teams, operations, and managed the division’s annual budget, which was in the $250-$350 million range. Ben was the construction superintendent at Chevron’s 2.6 million barrels capacity Escravos Terminal in Nigeria and provided construction support to the project teams and operations in the asset areas.

Ben led the FE Team in revamping surface production facilities, steam generators, and the installation of new gas and water treatment plants in San Ardo Field in Bakersfield, CA, from 2003 through mid-2006 before assuming the role of Construction Superintendent in Nigeria. He participated in executing several strategic projects during his career with Chevron. This included FEED and detailed design activities at contractor offices and fabrication yards in Nigeria, Houston, TX, New Orleans, LA, and London, UK, and installation of facilities in the field. The projects include Opuekeba, Olero, and Dibi, adding over 150,000 BPD in the onshore area, and the 365 million standard cubic feet per day Escravos Gas Project (EGP1).

Jacob Drejer

Jacob serves as Commercial Advisor to Project Development Solutions, Inc. (PDS), bringing extensive international experience in project finance, technology commercialization, mergers and acquisitions, and infrastructure development. His background spans decades of work supporting the advancement of capital-intensive projects and commercial platforms that require strategic financial structuring and real-asset deployment to succeed.

Jacob is the founder of Technology Commercialization & Finance (TCF) Partners, a firm focused on bridging the gap between venture capital and traditional private equity or infrastructure finance. Through this work, he has partnered with technology companies and commercial platforms developing scalable opportunities in energy and resource efficiency. His approach centers on building commercially viable infrastructure solutions that improve performance, reduce resource intensity, and create long-term value.

Prior to founding TCF Partners, Jacob spent more than ten years with GE Capital International in London. Earlier in his career, he worked for approximately a decade as a principal consultant in mergers and acquisitions, advising private equity clients, corporate entities, and institutional investors, primarily on real-asset transactions.

Since launching TCF Partners in 2017, Jacob has been involved in more than €700 million in transactions supporting agricultural and environmental infrastructure, including waste-to-value facilities, photovoltaic plants, and greenhouse developments. His experience includes global deal execution and project development across a broad range of industries and technologies.

Jacob holds an M.Sc. in Geology and Hydrology and an MBA from IESE Business School. In his role with PDS, he supports the company’s commercial strategy, financial positioning, and development of scalable project opportunities

Before PDS, Jesus worked with Cenergy International Services. At Cenergy, he managed the construction of oil and gas infrastructure projects and pre-planning, and commissioning facilities projects. Before Cenergy, Jesus collaborated with the Los Angeles Union School District (LAUSD) project team to execute the Los Angeles District school projects as superintendent and assistant project manager at Enterprise Construction Inc.

His project experience includes substation and distribution system engineering, protective relay upgrades, and electrical design deliverables for large, operating facilities—helping improve reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Charles Amarikwa is a subcontracted electrical engineer at Project Development Solutions, PDS, where he leads the electrical side of energy issues in the USA and Africa. Outside of PDS, Mr. Amarikwa is the principal engineer and owner of Concise Image Inc; a design, engineering, and construction firm. He specializes in power system analysis and protection, equipment specification and design, project management, and control systems design in fields like oil processing, power generation, water treatment, and petrochemicaI industries.

Over 42 years of experience have honed Charles’s understanding and practical application of design, support, and project management in the oil and gas industry; reviewing construction permit-based projects and consulting through his past experiences at Fluor Daniel Inc, Delta Construction Inc as well as additional sales and marketing exposure as lead consulting engineer in Raymond Professional Group Inc. As an advisor, Mr. Amarikwa brings an understanding and experience in electrical engineering, control system, instrumentation engineering, and design along with construction management. His expansive expertise is invaluable in the oil processing and petrochemical fields.

Gareth Ogunjobi is a Project Engineer at Project Development Solutions (PDS) with experience supporting renewable energy electrical infrastructure design and engineering documentation. In his role at PDS, he has helped design pole plans using PLS‑CADD for a 5 MW PV‑to‑substation connection, developing applied knowledge of mechanical loading considerations and electrical code requirements.

Gareth also supports 3D modeling and technical documentation development using Fusion 360, coordinating deliverables to meet project schedules. His background includes academic research and hands‑on engineering projects spanning robotics design, power electronics, and PCB design, including the development of a low‑voltage DC power circuit on a PCB and mechanical design work for robotic systems.

In addition to his project engineering work, Gareth has held leadership roles in student engineering organizations, including Vice President of California State University Bakersfield’s Robotics Club, where he led design teams and iterative testing efforts across competition and fabrication projects. Dominic Torres obtained a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from California State University, Bakersfield. Uros Prica is a results-driven professional with strong organizational and communication skills, with experience supporting finance, accounting, and documentation-heavy workflows in fast-paced environments.

Uros brings hands-on experience in full-cycle bookkeeping and reconciliation, preparation of federal and state tax returns, and recurring compliance reporting (sales and payroll tax), using tools such as QuickBooks and Lacerte Tax. His work includes maintaining confidential financial records, organizing and archiving critical documentation, and supporting senior accounting staff to keep deliverables accurate and on schedule.

In addition, Uros has direct experience in logistics project-controls–style coordination through customs and freight-forwarding work, where he supported time-sensitive import/export operations and ensured regulated processes stayed on track. His responsibilities included coordinating multimodal transportation (road, rail, air, maritime), overseeing customs-warehouse activities (organization, segregation, inspection procedures), preparing required customs documentation, and coordinating with multiple inspection authorities to maintain compliance.

He also communicated with importers/exporters to identify efficient tariff/logistics pathways and supported end-to-end process visibility for clients.

Tunde Deru is the Principal at Project Development Solutions, PDS, where he provides strategic business and project solutions to the energy sector in the USA and Africa. Before starting PDS, Mr. Deru was the Sales Director for GlassPoint Solar Inc. at GlassPoint, he developed and drove its strategic growth in California’s oil and gas industry resulting in its partnership with Aera Energy to build the largest, and first-of-its-kind, integrated solar steam and electricity project in the State, Belridge Solar.

Before GlassPoint, Tunde established and managed the Project Management Organization, PMO for Berry Petroleum Inc, California’s fifth-largest oil producer. At the PMO, Mr. Deru successfully managed $400 million CAPEX projects which enabled Berry to achieve its five-year strategic plan.

Christian Cuevas is a Technical Content Creator at Project Development Solutions (PDS), specializing in grant writing, community engagement, and technical documentation. With a background in historical writing and community outreach, Christian brings a strategic approach to crafting compelling narratives for grant applications and business development initiatives.

Before joining PDS, Christian served as the Kern Regional Community Consultant for the California Resources Corporation (CRC) Community Affairs Department, where he engaged with local communities to explain CRC’s projects and successfully authored and coordinated five grant applications for CRC’s carbon management ventures. Prior to that, he worked with the Kern Community College District’s California Renewable Energy Laboratory (CREL) initiative as a Community Outreach Coordinator, forging partnerships with the Kern High School District’s Energy Academies and developing Community Benefit Plans for major grant applications.

Christian also has experience in emergency management, having served as an Emergency Disaster Manager for the United Farm Workers Foundation (UFWF) during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he provided essential aid to agricultural communities.

At PDS, Christian co-leads grant projects for clients seeking state and federal funding, ensuring compliance with agency requirements while integrating community benefit strategies. His expertise in historical research, technical writing, and stakeholder engagement supports PDS’s mission of delivering high-quality, impactful project development solutions.
